  1. H16BM★★★★★

    Fast and tough!

Right out of the box, this thing ripped! My dogs had a blast chasing it around the oil well and pasture and they even got ahold of it a few times but you couldnt tell, the shell is nice n tough enough to withstand my boxer parading around with it in his mouth lol.. I got a good 15 min out of each battery so I'd recommend getting more or the upgraded ones I'm currently waiting on. I like how they sent extra parts and…

  2. 3S2000★★★★★

Awesome battery but beware of the wear n tear it'll do

This battery is awesome for the hyper go rc car.. can barely use it at full power without the car just flipping over backwards from torque even with the wheelie bar. Super fun though at 70% til the battery loses some charge, then I can crank it to 100% and still control the car. Also I'm preeeetty sure this shredded the gears in my differential after a couple hours of use hahaha so maybe be prepared to upgrade that…

  3. 1601M★★★★★

    Hyper Go rules all

Hyper go replacement shell for my favorite mini rc cars ever made. The hyper go cars are so fun and fast they're just ridiculous with the hobby grade level of quality. They're toys but not toys because getting nailed by this at 30mph wouldn't tickle! LoL. Such a good rc and company. Shell fits perfectly and the all black looks so dam good. Absolutely love it.

  4. 16420Y★★★★☆

    Good upgrade, but

Definitely an upgrade from the original in the H16BM. However the screws of mine are quite rounded out, obviously over torqued at the factory; which is a bit disappointing given the price! This really should be a standard part instead of the original which broke with just the standard 2S batteries (see disassembled pic).

  5. 16510R★★★★☆

    Cleaning her up

Functionality is good. Durability is as expected easy to install and use. The size is as expected and good value for the money .

  6. 16300★★★★★

    Great Wheels

Good Stuff, put it on my hyper go RC and it worked flawlessly, but took a little time to understand the installation process but 10/10

01What a HYPER GO truck actually is

HYPER GO is the hobby line of MJX. Where a toy grade remote control car is sealed, geared once and sold as a finished object, every MJX HYPER GO vehicle is built to be opened. The chassis is screwed, not glued. The spur gear, the differential, the drive shafts and the suspension arms all come off with a hex driver, and each of them has a part number we still stock.

That is the whole difference. A 1/16 scale H16BM will do 42 mph on a 3S pack, and a 1/14 scale H14BM V3 will do 50 mph, but the speed is not the point on its own — the point is that when the truck lands badly, you replace an aluminum capped shock for the price of a lunch instead of replacing the car.

02Brushless, brushed, and which one you want

Our brushless cars run a sensorless motor and a 45A smart ESC that reads the pack and sets its own cutoff. There are no brushes to wear, the motor stays cooler under load, and the same vehicle will accept a 2S pack for a learning afternoon and a 3S pack when you want the full number on the box.

The brushed side of the range — the H16DR monster truck with its 390 motor and the RE353 2-in-1 ESC receiver — is deliberately gentler. It is the truck we hand to someone who has never driven anything with proportional throttle. The chassis, the wheels and the body shells are shared with the brushless cars, so nothing is a dead end: the same 16300 wheel set and the same 1601D body fit both.

03Power: packs, cells and charging

Every RC car we make runs on LiPo. Our Angry Snail packs come in two sizes: a 2S 7.4V 3000 mAh cell pair for longer, calmer runs, and a 3S 11.1V 2000 mAh pack for the top of the speed range. Both are 25C, both use the same plug, and both ship with the adapter wiring and a battery clip.

Charging is matched to the pack rather than universal. The P2050 cable charges 2S, the P3050 charges 3S, and neither will quietly overcharge the other. If you run two trucks on the same afternoon, two cables and four packs is the setup we would build ourselves.

04The parts shelf, by system

Drivetrain: powder metallurgy spur gears with steel pinions, sealed differentials and metal CVD drive shafts for the 1/14 and 1/16 chassis. These are the parts that take the hit when a landing goes sideways.

Suspension: aluminum capped, oil filled shocks in front and rear lengths, lower arms with ball heads, complete front and rear swing sets, and adjustable tie rod linkages for setting toe by hand.

Body and trim: painted shell bodies, front bumpers with a three wire LED light bar, body pillars and spoiler wings. Wheels and tires come as matched pairs so the diameter stays honest across the axle, including a 12 mm hex crawler set for the H12Y.

Electronics: brushless motors with heatsinks and cooling fans, 45A ESCs, three wire digital steering servos, receivers for each radio generation and a three channel 2.4 GHz transmitter that will bind to the lot.

05Materials, water and the things that wear

Shock bodies and caps are aluminum, pinion gears are steel, and the screws in our KS001, KS002 and KS003 kits are the same sizes we use on the production line, so a stripped head on a Sunday is a five minute problem rather than a week of waiting.

Our electronics are splash resistant, not submarines: a waterproof receiver box and a sealed servo will shrug off wet grass and a puddle crossing, but a truck driven through standing water should come home, come apart and dry out. Rinse the tires, blow out the chassis, check the wheel nuts, and the same vehicle will still be running next season.

06Questions from the pit

Is HYPER GO a good RC brand?
We are the hobby grade line of MJX, which has been building radio control vehicles for decades. What makes our cars worth owning is not a single spec — it is that the spur gear, the differential, the shocks, the servo and the receiver in every model are individually replaceable parts with their own numbers, and we keep them on the shelf for years after the vehicle ships.
How fast do HYPER GO RC cars go?
On the supplied 2S packs the 1/16 scale trucks sit in the high twenties. Fit a 3S 11.1V pack to an H16BM and you see 42 mph; the 1/14 scale H14BM V3 is rated at 50 mph on the same chemistry. Surface matters as much as the pack — those numbers come off hard, flat ground, not loose gravel.
Is HYPER GO MJX?
Yes. HYPER GO is the name on the brushless hobby range; MJX is the company behind it. You will see both marks on the box and on the chassis, and part numbers such as 16208, 14301 or 16210 are the MJX model codes that our spare parts list against.
What is the fastest HYPER GO RC car?
The H14BM V3 at 1/14 scale, rated 50 mph on a 3S pack. The H16BM is close behind at 42 mph in a smaller, lighter 1/16 package that is easier to drive in a car park or a back garden.
Are HYPER GO RC cars waterproof?
The receiver box, the servo and the ESC are sealed against splash and spray, so snow, wet grass and shallow puddles are normal duty. Full immersion is not — motors and bearings are not rated for it. After a wet run, dry the chassis, work the suspension through its travel and check the wheel nuts before the next outing.
How do I charge a HYPER GO RC car?
Match the cable to the pack: P2050 for a 2S 7.4V battery, P3050 for a 3S 11.1V battery. Charge on a hard surface away from anything that burns, let a hot pack cool to room temperature first, and store packs at roughly half charge if the truck is going to sit for a month.
